It’s getting hot in here

For this project I wanted to learn a bit more about working with geographical data. We all (or at least the sensible ones among us) know the climate crisis is real, so I thought a nice starting point would be to track how the daily temperature in Belgium has evolved over the years, making the evolution of temperature over the decades a bit more tangible and personal. In my mind’s eye, the end product should be something that displays the temperature over the whole of Belgium and that you can manipulate to navigate between years.

Monitoring my daily activity

Ever since I bought my iPhone back in 2016, I carry it around in my pocket from pretty much the moment I wake up until I go to bed in the evening. All that time my phone has been recording my daily steps. After around 3 years, I thought it would be interesting to analyse my daily activity and see if I could learn some lessons. Spoiler alert: I did.
